First commercial work complete for Days Restaurant.

Hi guys,

Recently I was asked by Days Restaurant group to produce a video for their Bournemouth branch opening ceremony on the 25th Feb 2012. It was a great day and despite a nagging back injury I completed the days filming and got some really nice shots.

One thing that blew me away when I arrived on location was the sheer size of the restaurant! Seating for over 500 people, 250 different dishes from many countries and a VIP karaoke area which was really cool. If you get the chance to visit the restaurant please do, the prices are great and the quality of the food is amazing. I guarantee you won't have had such a pleasant dining experience for the money.

Hope you enjoy the video.

All the best,

Dan

2011 at a glance

2011 was a huge year for me. I picked up a camcorder for the first time in June and decided that making videos was what I wanted to do. My first project was for the RCHA Flyin in Lincoln and it turned out to be huge success. I could not have hoped for a better foundation on which to build LFXproductions.

I also made quite a few personal projects with the aim improving what I had learnt during the year. One of my big projects was  mountain bike project that I was working on called "The Journey". Me and my brother Jon, wanted to document our year on our bikes and create many videos to show the ups and downs. Unfortunately I suffered a back injury while filming the first instalment, so will have to put that on the backburner (no pun intended) until I am fully healed and can ride a bike and shoot again.

Probably my favourite was the Field of Doom Flyin even in October. Mainly because I was presented with a brand new Canon 600D DSLR camera and lenses courtesy of the great forum members, mods and owner of RCHeliaddicts. Such a great gesture reminds me why I love the RC Heli hobby so much and this really has allowed me to push my productions to a new level.

So, here are some of the video's I produced in my first Year (well, 6 months really). Looking forward to many more in 2012!

All the best,

Dan
